And . . . what's that? If you've been following up on all the alpha war gossip, it looks like Julian2 finally got his wish! His "idol," Sir Gilbert, has finally gotten an official den (or palace, rather), which costs 7 diamonds. Whoa, I took a tour of it and realized that it's simply fit for a knight such as he!
When you first enter his palace, you'll come to a wide staircase, furnished with a fierce-looking tiger state on each side. The steps lead to the main room, and if you take a right, you'll be walking along a fancy red velvet rug, leading all the way up to a stained-glass mosaic of Jamaa's creators! Mira stands proudly as Zios hovers protectively above her.
If you explore the castle further, you'll pass some large, posh rooms, until you reach the top, and catch a glimpse of the fantasy landscape below. There's even a flying flag!
But the the thing that impressed me most was Gilbert's secret hideout! Go all the way back outside and down the grassy area, and find yourself in a deep underground room. Judging from the mosaic of the tiger alpha showing off his power, and the large model of our planet, it seems that he might have some conquering tricks up his sleeve . . .

Ah, let's move onto the other main topic: it's Animal Jam's sixth birthday! On September 9, 2010, National Geographic came out with the first beta stage of the animal-avatar game. To celebrate, it has hosted an in-game birthday party since 2012.
As you first enter, you'll be greeted by a giant chocolate birthday cake, lined with statues of all the alphas, including minor ones (I bet they're made from icing!) Go up to the first layer, and to the right will be a shop hidden inside a slice of cake.
New to the shop is some cute alpha balloons, costing 250 gems each, plus some statues. The Liza and Peck ones are even for non-members.
Go up another layer, and come to a music shop, hosting the bouncy song "Birthday Bash." It always reminds me of balloons for some reason . . .
On the top layer, there'll be a giant candle shaped as the number six! To the right you can pick up a little souvenir of the party--a cool alpha charm necklace, each priced at 750 gems (aw man I'm broke!)
Finally, I really like the candy and ice cream wonderland background.
Oh, and did I forget to mention . . . if you type in AJBDAY6 as a code, you'll get a free birthday cake to show off in your den. They change every year (my favorite was last year's, which was phantom-themed). And if you click the little candle flame on this one, a big, gold layer will sprout up!
P.S. I can't wait for lemur animals to come out; do you think they'll be available to all jammers?
