Night of the Phantoms!

Halloween is officially here! AJ's version of the spooky holiday, dubbed "Night of the Phantoms" has bombarded Jamaa yesterday around 3;00 a.m. Fog, jack-o-laterns, green goo, and shadows spread across the land, while eerie music sends shivers up jammers' spines. (click on a pic to enlarge)

  

First, pet phantoms have arrived! This is quite surprising, knowing that they are pretty much our worst enemies! Also they have some peculiar personalities. For when you look at their certificates, they have been known to feed on: Joy, Fun, Rainbows, Laughter, Gems (they'd make good ban robbers!), and Happiness. Some of their toys are Scary clown masks, Sharp sticks, Stinky goo, etc (if I find anymore I'll update this official list).

Sadly, they're for member's, but here's what they look like: (flashy effects right after I clicked the randomize button)

They're colors seem to be a bit dark and shadowey, don't you think? Cost is 3 diamonds (at first I thought it'd be more).

Next, the Haunted House den has come! This is also a rather spooky place. It cost is 5 diamonds.

And then, a new adventure. Bitter Sweets is for all jammers, specifically their pets. So go grab yours and defeat the proto-phantoms and collect candy asap! Your phantom pets can even cannibalize on them o.o

If I get enough time soon, I'll make a quick guide for the adventure and post it under the "Adventure Guides" page (it's to the right of this blog, and currently standing empty).

Woot woot! The Hidden Falls adventure is now open to everyone. All you gotta do is become any wolf or tiger. If I get enough time I might be able to make an adventure guide for that also. You can find that adventure and The Front Lines at Adventure base camp now. Just head north, across the bridge, towards east, south from the cave, and down the stone steps.

And the names! Oh yes, the names. The collection now includes first names such as Dove, Enigma, Swaggy (I hear Aparri chasing after this one), Quick, Honest, DJ, Doctor, Elm, Ember, Feeble, Feast, Fort, Gallant, Giving, Glowing, Gold, Gorgeous (hello mate-beggars), Legit, and a bunch of others. 

Middle names include: Exquisite, Eager, Even, Fair, Fearsome, Kawaii, Lightning, Leafy, and all the colors of the rainbow. Also there's sabre, but I think that's a typo for Saber . . .

Last have: fan, meadow, nose, spike, swag, atom, apple, bean (anyone for Julian2?), bulk, etc.

It looks like AJHQ is going for some more lighter, fresher, more trendy names!

The Phantom Vortex is a pretty neat game, and it's located in the Appondale near that weird cave to the upper-left. Once, you can play a game where you must move your mouse to control the torch and guide the phantoms away from the candy and into the blue swirls. 

Interestingly, the game gets easier as the as the levels progress, because even though there's one more phantom to each level, there are more blue swirls, hence more areas to guide the phantoms into.

Every five levels you complete gets you a present! I received a trapdoor. My highest score is around level 7. I'm hoping to get at least to 10 or 15 soon.
