Aparri Parody Song

Okay so it looks like my mom has taken away my laptop (doing this on an iPad), so it looks like I'll have to take a break from blogging for another month. During the new year I was thinking of switching to making videos.

For now, a friend recently showed me a lyrical video of the song "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon. When I heard the word apricot, I immediately thought of Aparri. I don't hate him, but I'm not fond of him either, and I definitely don't dislike or hate his fans at all. I try to stay neutral, but from the bad media he gets I just couldn't help but write a parody based off the song (for best results I suggest singing the lyrics in your head to the beat of the real thing)

Real song/lyrics:

Parody lyrics by me:
~
You walked into the Masterpiece Party
As you were filming a vid-deo
Your tophat strategically dipped below one eye
Your haters yell "It's Apricot"
You had one eye on the cam-mera
As you watched the likes pile up
And all the fangirls dreamed they'd get an auto
They'd get an auto . . . and

You're so vain
You prolly think this parody's about chu
You're so vain, you're so vain!
I'll bet you hate Jistera and Julian2
Don't chu
Don't chu

Oh you had me several months ago
When I still had very few subs
Well you said that Wistparri would always be shipped
And that it was the only one
But you hacked and scammed and cheat-ted
And one of them was me
I had some dreams they were jags in my mailtime
Jags in my mailtime . . . and

You're so vain
You prolly think this parody's about chu
You're so vain, you're so vain!
I'll bet you hate Jisteria and Julian2
Don't chu
Don't chu
Don't chu

Well I hear you went to play Jamaa Der-by
And your horse naturally won
Then you tele-ported to Jamaa Township
To spread all your cringey cheeseheads around
Well you're where you should be all the time
And when you're not you're stealing some other idea
Or painting some scribbles
Painting some scribbles . . . and

You're so vain
You prolly think this parody's about chu
You're so vain, you're so vain!
I'll bet you hate Jisteria and Julian2
Don't chu
Don't chu
Don't chu
~

Also, Happy Thanksgiving jammers!

I AM STILL HERE!!!

I've been so busy this November, but I swear I haven't forgotten about this blog. This month I'm participating in an online program called NaNo WriMo, where you have to write an entire novel in just one month. If you're shooting for an average book that's 50k words long, you have to write 1,667 words per day! I'm already behind . . .

But in Decemeber I should have a little more free time as I will be going on vacation for about three weeks. Around that time I'll probably post more and even get my YouTube channel started up again. I do meed some suggestions for easy video editing programs that are also free? I'm still kinda lost about what to do with iMovie (it's free but doesn't seem to do a lot). I tried looking up instruction videos but they're all outdated!

Anyhow, if any of you wanna help out, go over to the "Meet the Team" page and wait a few seconds for an author sugn-up form below.

Adieu for now.

(also my mom took away my laptop again but that's a different story)

How to Change the Attribution Widget

Every Tuesday, I'll try to get a new post out concerning some major blogging tips, ones that will make your blog look better than ever! (all of these tips will require you to be a blog admin)

First, I'll discuss how to change that attribution thing at the bottom of your blog-- and no, I don't mean just putting your copyright. I mean getting that annoying "Powered by Blogger" text off of there, huh? Follow these steps . . .

1. Log into Blogger as usual and select Template.

2. Look on the screen and find "Edit HTML". Click that, and then find the "Jump to Widget" button. Select it, and then find the button that says Attribution1 (it should be somewhere near the top kinda).

3. You will automatically be directed to a long list of code. Without moving anything, simply look at the top of the code box and you should see Attribution1 somewhere in it.

4. Find the words locked='true' and change the word true to false.

Basically what you're doing is telling the program that the attribution widget is no longer "locked" in place. Locked is not "true" anymore, but now "false" (coding has some very high ethical standards).

5. Go to the Layout page and scroll down until you see the Attribution widget. Click on edit. You should now see a remove button!

~

6. Oh wait, you still want copyright? You just didn't want that Powered by Blogger thing? Oh, gotcha.  Okay, well you can do that, too. First, after you save the new layout, make a new widget (but not in the area where the attribution once stood. It won't work there).

7. Select the "Text" one. To make it look nice, you'll want to center the words. To do that, switch the HTML version of the widget and copy/paste the code

into the box. Type in what you want your copyright to say directly after the code. Also remember to keep the title of the widget blank.

(the red underline shows where the change-to-HTML button will be).

8. Finally, save the Text widget and drag in into the bottom footer/attribution area.

Volia!

Rare Phantom Necklace + Rare Viking Helmet

Happy Halloween everyone! Or at least, the day. The spooky stuff all begins tonight . . . anyhow, I will now share the newest RIM! It's very cool:

The Rare Phantom Necklace is located on the eighth page in Jam Mary Clothing, upper right box. It costs a slightly high 1000 gems and it's for members only, but it's definitely worth it. Its colors look just look a phantom's.
~

Next as previous RIM, we have the Rare Viking Hat. They originally came out during the beta stage (making the non-rare version surprisingly worth more than the rare one), and were re-released on March 12, 2016 with the gold tag added. Interestingly, many jammers mis-call them "viking helmets." (though I do think it's more fitting!)
Here's what the rare versions looked like:

(sorry for the not-very-sharp pictures. I wrote this and took them on a phone.)
