Spooky Forest Party

I'm pretty busy this week (just had a big birthday bash), so I only have to to post a few photos about the haunted forest party. I know it's pretty boring, but I should have some adventure guides out soon.

The party rolls around every 4 hours and 40 minutes, and even though the space is small, it's wonderfully decorated. You''ll enter a spooky area, with mysterious streams of purple goo snaking along the ground (phantom poison, perhaps?)

To the far-off right lower corner is a costume trunk where you can buy several outfits perfect for Halloween night.

If you go up aa bit and toward the scary tree with the green-goo face, you'll notice and old-fashioned phonograph, where you can buy a ghostly song for your den, costing 100 gems. It is quite spooky, the off-tune organ sending shivers up your spine.

To the left is a thick patch of fog. Or is it? Maybe it's a group of ghosts wandering the woods, for if you stay in the fog long enough, your animal begins to become more transparent, until you can barely see it yourself.

As you go pasted the mysterious trees as they grin at you, there'll be a strange shadow of a factory in the distance, puffing out swirls of green smoke. The Phantom Factory, perhaps? Suddenly, peculiar bats, with entering costumes, come flying from their perches and off into the night.

The Legend of Zero

Rare Monster Claws + Rare Scary Cat Hat

Today, a spooky RIM came out! The Rare Monster Claws, priced at 900 gems and members-only, has arrived just in time for Halloween. It's located on the 9th page in Jam Mart Clothing. It appears that it'd go well with the diamond Phoenix Armor, with it's fiery scarlet colors and sharp yellow claws.

I honestly don’t think this thing is spooky at all. In fact, I think it’s really cute :3

Anyway, the head item originally came out in October 2010 for the Night of the Phantoms. Later, it was re-released on March 5, 2012 in the Shiveer Shoppe. It didn’t come in multiple colors unlike the ones before, and at the Shoppe, its rare badge was added.

Technically, it was the first ever item to be called “rare.” The other previous RIM’s came out before, but they weren’t called “rare” until after the Scary Cat Hat.

It’s even a non-member version of the members-only Cat Hat, which has pointier ears and more similar colors. Interestingly, a copy-off came out again for the Leap Year Party of 2016, this time members-only, making it bigger with brighter and wilder colors.

5 Cool Non-Member Halloween Outfits

1. Classic: purple body, orange underside, green splotches. Bee antennae,  candy corn necklace, candy basket, phantom tail.

2. Buzz Buzz Bee: yellow body, black square-ish shapes, black underside. Yellow silk scarf (they're a good substitute for wings), bee antennae, beady grey eyes. If you have them, sparkly butterfly wings work well, too.

3. Zombie: green body, red underside, black splotches (or red splotches with black underside). Red X eyes, patched tie. Optional: a dark-colored spiky hair.

4. Cute Kitten: (bunnies are the cutest) black body, dark grey underside, big black eyes with white outline. Black cat ears and jingle bell necklace.

5. The Scariest Outfit Ever: A box-face hat. Will scare anyone. Period.

Night of the Phantoms!

Halloween is officially here! AJ's version of the spooky holiday, dubbed "Night of the Phantoms" has bombarded Jamaa yesterday around 3;00 a.m. Fog, jack-o-laterns, green goo, and shadows spread across the land, while eerie music sends shivers up jammers' spines. (click on a pic to enlarge)

  

Rare Pirate Hook + Rare Lionfish Armor

Today, there has been much speculation on whether or not this RIM will be super-valuable in the future, because it is underwater. Sadly, this is for members-only so I can't stock up at all ;-; But, it is at a reasonable 650 gems price, with an interesting green-and-orange tone. For some reason, this reminds me of green cheese :P

On a slightly unrelated note, when I went to go see what it looked like, I ran into a shark, who wanted to know where I got my non-member trident. He even offered a black spike, but then he said he traded it away, and then he said he didn't, and then he finally realized his did. He and another friend goofily made a big deal about "crying underwater."

And what a coincidence, here we come to the first underwater rare ever!

It’s called Rare Lionfish Armor, coming originally in Bahari Bay! It was just 300 gems, members-only. It’s first release was on February 27, 2012. Then, it showed the whole pair, in different colors and no rare tag.

Then, in July 2012, AJHQ changed the appearance with an added rare tag, and just showing one flipper. Since then, they can be won in underwater Adventures, but mysteriously, there have no rare tag.
